coming home thursday night i thought i saw a bird in the middle of the driveway. it was dark and i didn't have my glasses on so i didn't think twice about it. i pulled into the garage without trying to miss it. after i parked i went back to check. sure enough, it was a bird.
do you think it would fit in this [tissue lined] hummus container?
it's a miracle i didn't drive over it. jg suggested leaving it alone in case momma bird was looking for it. i would have agreed except bob our neighbor's cat had already come to the scene. i picked up the bird with gloves and delivered it to our other neighbor who has a pet bird.
my name is bob

after i gave the bird to the neighbor, i turned around to find bob standing right behind me. he was rather bummed that i didn't trust the bird in his care. anyway, my neighbor saw to it that the bird was reunited with its momma friday morning.
i took that picture during my sunset hike with a facebook group which i learned about from my office manager after i complained to her about my experience with the sierra club.
buena vista trail
a total of eight people showed up on thursday and we hiked from 6-8 pm. jj the leader was very welcoming to me, the newbie. she was also very good with herding the group. i appreciated that.
seen on old pueblo
i plan on joining the moonlight hike which is set for the week after next. wanna come?
