that's a beanie i made for andrea. i used two strands of various yarns which i handspun last year in experimental amounts. you can see that i ran out of one color toward the crown, where i had to substitute it with a lighter shade.
curious how shutterbird is so clear and legible in pictures. in reality, it looks like a mess of splotches to me. anyway, i finished the beanie last night. there were quite a few ends to darn in but i didn't mind. i was just happy to be back on the needles. i almost forgot how much i enjoy knitting. i hope the shutterbird will get just as much enjoyment out of it.
