back in june i promised eva i would draw up the thin mint pattern. three months later, this is all i've got:

you can see the numbers are not entirely filled in and the text is still a bit careless. you'd be surprised how difficult it is to translate the nonsense in my little head into words. look what i have to do in order to count the stitches.

doesn't it look terrible? i remember jotting notes about the numbers and process but i don't know where i put them. i knit and ripped goodness knows how many times so those notes wouldn't be worth anything anyway.

eva, i don't know if it is still any good to you now but i aim to finish the entire pattern this month. please bear with me.

knitting in the passenger seat

i'm on a ten day road trip. i had planned on taking my super secret knitting project with me except my knitpicks yarn order did not arrive in time. so i'm working on a simple sweater using a fancy bulky wool yarn from my long ignored stash. should be a good project for a knitter with one hand attached to a camera.

i hope to show you progress knitting pictures when i get back. meanwhile, please keep an eye on schmeebot. who knows what the guest bloggers are up to.
