waffles was restless this morning so i took her for a short walk. we found a dead dog in the somera parking lot.
10:10 am
just kidding. we, that's waffles and me, have seen this dog tied to the same spot before. she's an old mutt. she barks like she's a smoker, real low and scratchy. after each bark she'd wheeze. it's pretty funny.
alive
waffles doesn't care for her. waffles generally cares about nothing but the ball.
conversely, she doesn't care for waffles. she doesn't care about the ball, either. when i came close to take pictures, she sidled up to me. i petted her a good while until waffles got tired of being ignored. she came and stood between me and the smoker.
waffles and i learned that our buddy's name is jill. she's a full beagle and she's fourteen years old. her owner works at the salvation army donation center, which is just over the fence from the somera parking lot.
oh, it's you again!
i was glad to see that she was given a towel to lie on today. the asphalt can get terribly hot. i forced waffles to sit next to jill for pictures. she humored me.
