i actually typed "thanks that are yellow" for the title and then corrected it. i don't know why; i'm not particularly thankful for much these days. not subconsciously. most definitely not consciously.
that's from my site visit this morning. fedex is comverting that hangar into a loading hub. it is such an incredibly big space. when i walked through the door, i sort of felt dizzy. i am told it could house a dc10 easily.
when i got ready to drive out to goleta this morning, i saw these two waddle by:

incidentally, you can see the lone magnolia just beyond the fence above the right duck.
we get a free subscription of sf magazine for supporting kqed. it really irks me that this is their membership premium. what an immense waste of money, effort, trees, etc. i hate this sort of insipid lifestyle magazines. sb has one which is even nastier. last year we got a free subscription through some idiot realtors because that's what it's all about, real estate ads. and glammed up wedding pictures of insignificant people taken either around the sb court house or east beach.
having said all that, i do wonder if salt lake city has a namesake magazine. mostly i wonder what the wedding pages look like.
